1. Palpable
intense feeling etc. that can be felt  
E.g: There was *palpable* tension in Srinagar. 


2. Eviction 
the action of expelling someone from a property
E.g: *Eviction* notice.   
E.g: There is automatic *eviction* of vocabulary words if we don't implement them. 


3. Exchequer
treasury 
E.g: There were allegation of looting public *exchequer*. 


4. Startle
to do something unexpected that surprises 
E.g: He noticed a *startling* discrepancy.


5. Plummet
To fall sharply 
E.g: Ground-water level is *plummeted*. 


6. Frenzy
Uncontrolled excitement
E.g: Modi *frenzy* gripped Bhubaneswar.  


7. Beacon
Light (used a signal,warning, celebration etc.) 
E.g: Punjab issued notice on the use of *beacons*. 


8. Tizzy
confusion
E.g: Security agencies were thrown into a *tizzy* on arrival of PM Modi.
