1. Overarching
Most important 
E.g: They have proposed an *over-arching* science body. 


2. Stature
Reputation
E.g: The *stature* of Indian Science is a shadow of what it used to be. 


3. Spare
To prevent somebody of experiencing bad
Means: Baksh dena 
E.g: Nothing is free in life. Later on sooner we have to pay. We cannot be *spared* everytime. 


4. Tight lipped
to avoid showing anger and avoid speaking 
E.g: The home-minister remained *tight-lipped* on the investigations in the Sardha case. 


5. Flatly
In confident way
E.g: If you can work hard honestly then you can *flatly* face the consequences of your decisions. 


6. Caliphate
The rule 
means: Shaasan 
E.g: Now a days, In India there is Modi Lahar...and there seems to be *caliphate* of BJP.


7. Recurrent
Repeated 
E.g: I have *recurrent* thinking that the students may face challenges and problems so I am trying to work-hard in order to ensure success of them. 


8. Evocation
To recall an image, feeling or memory etc. 
E.g: In “Begum-Jaan” there is *recurrent* evocation of strong woman.  


9. Expat
One Living outside one's country
E.g: Jet Union to boycot expat pilots. 


10. Guild
A group like trade unions etc. 
Means: Sangathan  
E.g: NAG stands for National Aviator's Guild
