Rule-1 :  The comparative adjectives like ‘inferior’,’superior’,’prior’,’posterior’,’preferable’ etc. are followed by ‘to’

Examples:

1. Death is preferable than dishonour.    (Incorrect)

    Death is preferable to dishonour.  (Correct)

2.  Laptop is superior than net-book. (Incorrect)

      Laptop is superior to net-book. (Correct)

3.   “2” comes prior than “3”. (Incorrect)  

       “2” comes prior to “3”.    (Correct)
