Do you know ... What’s the meaning of a WORM?
Well ... a worm is basically a virus which can replicate itself.
It does not alter itself ... but duplicates itself and resides in memory.
Generally ... some types of software are developed in order to fulfil all the requirements of a particular company. These types of softwares are called Vertical – Softwares.
Opposite is Horizontal – Software which can be used across various industries.
E. g. MS word ... Adobe Reader etc.
There are many ports used in a computer like Parallel Port ...
Do you know what’s the main use of this port?
Answer is to connect printer with PC.
That’s why...
Parallal – Port is also called Printer port.
There is also one important term known as Footprint...
Do you know what it’s?
Footprint means the amount of space that software occupies.
Many times ... in networking ... a term “Telnet” is used...
Telnet is used for accessing a computer remotely...
By sitting at one place ... we can use computer at some other location by using Telnet.
Sometimes one more term is used “Speculative execution”.
It is a technique in which computer performs certain tasks that may not be actually needed.
Now ... I think ... these terms are clear to you...
